Analyzing Survey Results
Survey Results
The Survey Results tab contains all of the information about your survey's progress and participant responses. From this tab, you can also close or delete the survey, adjust its schedule, or copy it as a template. For more detailed guidance on those actions, see the articles for creating and editing surveys.
Survey Overview
When a survey is still in Draft status, the Survey Results tab will only display the survey name and status. Once published, additional data becomes available, including details about the survey schedule, the number of participant submissions, and the percentage of questions answered. These metrics will update in real time as responses are received.
- Current Survey Period - The display of the current survey period varies based on the survey's status and setup. For Scheduled or Open surveys without a defined end date, the interface shows the number of days the survey has been open. For surveys with an end date, it shows the number of days remaining until the survey closes. This data will update daily for Open surveys. Once a survey has a Closed status, the display shows the total number of days the survey was active.
- Participant Submission - Once a survey is Open, this section updates dynamically as each participant submits a response.
- Questions Answered - This metric reflects the percentage of total survey questions that have been answered by survey participants. It updates in real time as responses are received.
Questions Table
Below the overview section, a detailed view of each survey question is provided in the Questions Table. Here, you can search by question text or sort by question type, question title, and quantity of responses received.
To export a detailed report of individual participant responses:
- Click the action menu in the top right corner of the Questions Table
- Select Download CSV.
- Once downloaded, open the file to view participant-level details, including who responded, when the response was submitted (based on the company's timezone setting), and how they answered each question.
