Introduction to PerformYard Meetings

Introduction

Meetings are crucial for fostering communication, collaboration, and alignment within a company, ensuring that everyone is on the same page regarding goals and expectations. They provide a dedicated space to discuss challenges, share updates, and make decisions that drive the company forward. PerformYard Meetings allows employees to streamline their meetings by introducing collaborative agendas, action items, and note taking all inside a meeting workspace that allows you to view past meetings with ease.

Meeting Workspaces

In PerformYard Meetings, you’ll start by creating a meeting workspace. Each meeting workspace enables two users to create and access meetings, fostering seamless collaboration between them. Think of meeting workspaces as a collection of your meetings. For example, if you have a weekly 1:1 with one of your direct reports, you can create a dedicated meeting workspace to store all those meetings in one place. Each week, as the meeting takes place, both you and your direct report can take notes, add agenda items, and track action items. With all these elements being stored together, revisiting past discussions, seeing decisions made, and who needs to do what is quick and effortless!

Here are some common use cases for a meeting workspace:

  • 1:1s
  • Check-ins, Catch Ups, & Daily Huddles
  • Project Planning, Discussions, and Kick-Offs
  • Brainstorming Sessions
  • Onboarding Sessions
  • Performance conversations

With the flexibility meeting workspaces provide, the possibilities are endless.

Meetings

Inside of a meetings workspace, you’ll have the opportunity to create meetings. Meetings are collaborative and give participants the ability to add notes, agenda items, and action items before, during, and after the meeting.

Agenda

Define the key topics to be discussed during a meeting with ease. We eliminate the hassle of back-and-forth agenda planning by allowing both users to update the agenda at any time. Simply add items to the list as needed and check them off once they’re completed.

Action Items

Define the key objectives that meeting participants need to accomplish. You can create action items, assign them to specific individuals, and set due dates. Add action items to the list, assign responsibilities, set deadlines, and check them off once completed.

Notes

Keep everyone aligned on decisions and discussions made during a meeting by using our notes feature. Participants can take shared notes, visible to the other participant in the meeting workspace, as well as private notes that are only visible to the person who created them.

Meeting Carryover

During meetings, some agenda items may go undiscussed, and action items may remain incomplete. To eliminate the hassle of recreating these items for each meeting, we allow users to carry them over from meeting to meeting. When scheduling a new meeting, you can easily carry over any incomplete agenda and action items from the previous meeting, ensuring nothing gets overlooked or forgotten.
