Cycle visuals (admin)

Once a review cycle has begun, you can create visuals based on numeric and multiple choice questions; these visuals are:

  • Bar Chart – a horizontal bar chart graphing a single numeric question
  • Performance Plot – a scatter plot graphing two numeric questions
  • Stacked Bar Chart – a horizontal bar chart graphing a multiple choice question with colored bars

To create and manage graphs, navigate first to the cycle for which you want to visualize results. Select Visualize Data under the Options menu in the upper left.

Click Add Graph and enter the fields to select the graph type, the form on which the question you want to graph appears and select the question.

Bar Chart

If you select a Bar Chart, you will be asked to select one numeric question to graph.

These results can be sorted by value (High to Low or Low to High) or in alphabetical order by display name.

Performance Plot

If you select a Performance Plot, you will be asked to select two numeric questions you want to graph.

You can highlight and select regions of the plot to view exactly which employees appear in that section as they will be listed to the right.

Stacked Bar Chart

If you select the Stacked Bar Chart, you will be asked to select one multiple choice question to graph (not available if the multiple choice question allows for selection of multiple answers).

These results can be sorted by clicking on one of the answer choices or normalized if there are varying numbers of answers for the question.

To remove any graph from your visuals page, hover over the graph and click the X in the upper right corner.

Once you have added your graphs, click Save in the header. Under the Options menu, you can then go Back to Cycle to return to the list of reviews in the cycle.
