Connecting HRIS Data to Compensation Data
If you use an HRIS integration, you can have it populate and maintain the Salary field on your employee records, so compensation cycles calculate increases from current data without a manual import.
Salary flows in one direction, from your HRIS into PerformYard. PerformYard does not write salary back to your HRIS.
Setting up the mapping
Go to Fields under Integrations. Find the field holding your employees' salary and map it to Salary.
- Only monetary fields from your HRIS can be mapped to Salary
- You can map one HRIS field to Salary at a time
- Once Salary is mapped, it can no longer be edited in PerformYard
Custom monetary fields. On UKG Pro, BambooHR, and Gusto you can map a custom monetary or currency field to Salary instead of the standard one. PerformYard does not check the interval on a custom field, so it must hold an annual figure.
Currency
PerformYard stores salary as a number without a currency. If your HRIS supplies a currency code alongside the value, PerformYard keeps the number and discards the code.
Which field to map
PerformYard's Salary field holds an annual figure, and PerformYard does not convert between pay intervals. It stores the number your mapped field supplies, so map the annual field for your system.
| Your HRIS | Field to Map |
| UKG Pro | Annual Salary |
| Bamboo HR | Pay rate |
| Gusto | Job Compensation - Rate |
| ADP Workforce Now | Annual Rate Amount |
ADP Vantage does not offer a salary field mapping due to the absence of a standard annual rate field and does not support the custom monetary field types PerformYard needs to reference a compatible monetary amount. If you use ADP Vantage and wish to use Compensation, please consider populating salaries using our CSV import.
