Reporting on Survey Data (admin)
Introduction
In PerformYard, administrators can create and customize reports in Reporting & Analytics to view data about their organization. One kind of report that can be created is a Survey Report. These reports give insight into the results received across multiple surveys and provide helpful metrics on participation and statuses of published surveys. On the Reporting & Analytics landing page, you can see a list of all stored reports, including descriptions and tags. You can also search this list on the report name or tag name.

Creating a new Survey Report
To build a new report, click the Create Report button and select the Survey report type in your Create New Report modal.

By default, new survey reports will display all responses received for Open and Closed surveys. To refine results, click Survey Filters in the top left corner and apply the desired filters. To add or remove columns, click the Select Columns panel found on the right side of your report.

Report details can be modified by clicking the ellipsis button in the top right corner of your report and selecting Edit Report Details. Once selected, you can edit your report title, its description, and assign tags in the Edit Report modal.

Filtering
Creating filters is a simple process of identifying the data fields you want to filter by and defining the parameters you want to see in the report results. Once you've specified your filter criteria, click Apply Filters. If you'd like to filter by other data fields than what's available on the Quick Filter panel, click Add Filters under the Additional Filters section.
When applying additional filters, the query operators will update depending on the employee data field you've selected. For example, if you are searching on a numeric or monetary field, like Salary, you will have options such as Equal to, Less than, or Greater than, as shown in the example below, where Salary is less than $78,000.

Exporting Report to CSV (Download CSV)
Reports can be downloaded as a CSV file by clicking the ellipses button in the top right corner and selecting Download CSV. The resulting file will be named "PerformYard_Report," followed by the current date and time.
Please note that it may take a few seconds or longer for the download to complete for larger organizations.
